Being 33 and going through a divorce I discovered the world of dating apps. And it was like falling into the rabbit hole and discovering a parallel universe no one “outside” really knows about. From the confusing (obviously for both parties) self-presentation to the awkward conversion attempts —absolutely exciting for artistic research (though bewildering for a person).

I focused on conversations that ended with silence and what was the message the other person never replied to. I used some of my experience, I asked my friends and with Purpur we asked their readers on Instagram.

The result was this e-zine "Sound of Silence"
